Tuesday at 6:00 PM, the Saints took on Oklahoma Wesleyan University. The Saints knew coming in that it would be a tough battle being that OKWU is a top tier NAIA school. The Saints dropped their first set 18-25. However, they turned the tides by winning the next set 25-22. Unfortunately, the Saints lost the following two sets by a combined six points.

The Saints played exceptionally well and competed with a very competitive team. Teagan Hamilton led the Saints with ten kills. Kinzee Goodno and Andi Fudge also combined for 14 kills. Mikayla Stewart led the team with 15 digs, and Priscilla Crowell finished right behind with 11. The Saints look to bounce back on September 16th when they travel to Wichita, Kansas, to take on Friends University. Stay tuned for more info.
