The Randall University Men's Soccer team remains ranked No. 10 in the latest NCCAA Division II Coaches Poll, continuing to prove themselves as one of the top programs in the nation. The Saints improved to 7-7 overall and 5-1 against NCCAA DII opponents after a dominant 8-1 victory over Ozark Christian College on Tuesday.
The eight goals mark a season-high for the Saints, showcasing their depth and offensive firepower. Seven different players found the back of the net in the win. Manuel Bojaca led the charge with two goals, while Israel Ibanez, Axel Sandoval, Jason Montanez-Martinez, Gianluca Passarelli, Diego Calderon, and Christian Otero each added one.
Sandoval also made a big impact as a playmaker, recording two assists, while Pedro Da Silva added one of his own. The Saints' attack was relentless from start to finish, controlling possession and creating scoring opportunities throughout the match.
Defensively, Preston Grant anchored the goal for 75 minutes, making three saves, while Erick Villalobos finished the match strong, adding one save in his 15 minutes of action.
It was an all-around great performance for Randall as they continue to build momentum heading into the final stretch of the season. The Saints will look to carry their confidence into their next matchup when they hit the road to face NOC-Enid on Friday, October 24th.
