The Randall University Saints captured their first victory of the 2025 season on Saturday afternoon, defeating Calvary University in a 3 p.m. matchup that showcased the team's offensive rhythm, defensive toughness, and growing chemistry. This marked the Saints' first game against an NCCAA Division II opponent, and they made the most of it—showing that things are looking bright for the season ahead.

Randall was firing on all cylinders offensively, shooting an impressive 53% from the field and 50% from beyond the arc. Despite leading by just seven at halftime, the Saints came out in the second half with a point to prove. Assistant Coach Jaxson White praised the team's effort, saying, "We teach mental toughness and extra effort, and these guys showed that tonight—especially in the second half."

The Saints shared the ball beautifully, recording a season-high 19 assists while committing only six turnovers, highlighting their unselfish play and improving team cohesion.

Freshman guard Cameron Hainrihar led the way with a breakout performance, scoring 21 points on 8-of-14 shooting and 3-of-6 from three-point range, while also making a major impact defensively with his on-ball pressure.

Senior guard Kainan Ryan, the team's leading scorer this season, continued his consistent play with 18 points and 5 rebounds, providing leadership and composure on both ends. Sophomore transfer Carson Thomas was key inside and out, contributing 17 points and a team-high 7 rebounds, while adding great energy and perimeter defense.

At the point, junior Blestin Miller controlled the tempo and created opportunities, scoring 14 points, knocking down four three-pointers, and dishing out a team-high 6 assists. His second-half playmaking was a major factor in the Saints' pull-away run.

Inside, Cornelius Tembo provided early stability with strong rim protection in the first half, while Strahinja Krstic brought a burst of energy off the bench in the second, facilitating offense and helping maintain the team's momentum.

Under the leadership of Head Coach George Milsap, the Saints are clearly trending upward.
